To the issue you raise there are several approaches: 1- build more barracks/units (as the previous poster suggested) 2- improve the fighting strategy and suffer less damages. 2.1- use diamonds to heal. 3- come to peace with the fact that this is a "not-too-fast-pace" game. 4- find another game with more time-intense PvP feature.

Indeed. this was warned about in Jupiter age it already reached a point where 35% keen eye was equivalent to / nerfing AO's critical hit ability, at level 100 AO gives something close around 33% but only against troops of the same age, keen eye ability essentially lets all the space age troops have an AO bonus built in against troops of any age without spending all that time and space on a GB.
